Founder's Welcome & Mission Statement
NYHIA was founded by Nathaniel Herron with the aim of providing a positive education opportunity to Liberia. Having lived in the United States and raised his own children, Mr. Herron was inspired to give back to his community and provide the same opportunities he had received. Education is a top priority for Mr. Herron, and he is optimistic that NYHIA will bring many opportunities to the surrounding communities.​
At NYHIA, we are dedicated to providing high-quality education to the people of Margibi County, Liberia. Our programs offer a wide range of opportunities for both children and adults, including access to technology and a comprehensive library. We are proud to offer vocational trade classes in HVAC, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and more, as well as adult literacy classes. Join us in our mission to education and resources to our community.
